I really enjoyed writing Wishing Moon and hope you enjoy the excerpts.
Beneath the Wishing Moon, Avana Vasson made two wishes. The first was granted, a kiss that forever changed her relationship with Trace Canaan. The second wish must wait until he returns from active duty.
But be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
He’s back and he wants forever. She loves him, but not the conditions that come with being his alpha mate. She loves her life in the city and her job with WishLabz, a cutting-edge, wish-granting firm.
Wishes can be purchased if one has the coin — but be careful — wishes are powerful magic.
My second excerpt – Avana’s man – after four years apart he’s back
Her heart was pounding so hard she took a steadying breath before knocking.
Trace opened the door and his breath hitched. Just a small insignificant intake of air, but she’d heard it.
Hearing from him had given her a shock, but seeing him in the flesh jolted her senses. She stared, drinking in the sight of him, unable to speak, barely aware of the shiver running down her spine and the rush of her blood.
“Avana, you’re here.”
She reached out, wanting to touch him, feel his warmth, confirm he was real, flesh and blood and not some holographic image. Her fingers stopped short of their mark. His hair was damp with perspiration, short strands clinging to his forehead. A white towel was draped around his neck. Her nose twitched at his scent, pure alpha male. Her insides heated and her skin tingled.
“It’s good to see you,” he said, leaning close and brushing his lips against her cheek.
The fleeting kiss pulled her deeper into the sensual aura surrounding him. Acutely aware of him, his scent, his size, the warmth of his lips, Avana moaned low in her throat.
The sound yanked her out of her momentary trance. Had he heard her moan?
The flash of heat in his eyes told her he had.
His face had matured, the youthful smoothness replaced by sharp planes and hollows. The youth who’d introduced her to passion had become a heart-stopping, sexy-as-sin man.
After all these years he still had the ability to make her wish and want. He was a weakness she should overcome. She wanted to play it cool and sophisticated, a city girl without a care in the world, but her heart was on fire and her emotions were in turmoil. “It’s been a long time” she managed.
