UG. I hear you! I’m so sorry you had a crisis day. I had the same thing at my day job yesterday. I would’ve given nearly anything to have escaped to Vegas for even a brief respite! I’ve never been to RT, but have been to a few Star Trek conventions and writers’ seminars/workshops. Maybe one of these days we’ll meet at RT! BTW – your book sounds fascinating. You had me at superheroes! ;o)

Oh, Lori, I’m sorry you had a rough day job day, too! I hope today has been better. (My daughter passed her driving test, so that made anything else much less important. LOL)

Star Trek conventions must be a lot of fun! Especially since the new films.

Thanks for the comments about my book! 🙂

Sorry you had a bad day. I was writing software documentation and training materials for nearly 20 years, so I’ve been ther, done, that and definitely don’t want the tee-shirt.
The only conferences I’ve ever been to were through the Society for Technical Communication and paid for by my employer, so that meant taking classes and taking notes to bring back for my team.
Someday, I’m going to make it to a writer’s conference just for the experience of being out with other writers.

Thanks, Kathy! The week got a little better. My daughter passed her driver’s test yesterday. Amazing how much stress waiting for something like that can cause. LOL

I heartily recommend trying to attend a regional conference or luncheon or any of that type of event. Being around other writers is AWESOME.
