She was the wallflower beneath his notice…until a terrible mistake has one dangerous, delicious rake believing she’s the fair “Cyprian” ordered for his pleasure.
I’ve been really happy with the reviews for Dangerous Gentlemen, book 2 in my Salon of Sin Series, which has been in the top ten on Amazon UK for the past 3 weeks and last week made it into Amazon US’s top 10 Victorian Romance category.
“A Wicked and Sinfully Good story” and “A Regency Romance Full of Twists” are some of the headlines of my story of sibling romance set amidst Regency London’s ballrooms as two sisters battle for the same man.
My lovely hero is a true rake but he’s also a man of passionate conviction, so when he learns he’s done the wrong thing – inadvertently – he struggles to atone. But while one sister has his heart, the other is tearing at his resolve.
My two sisters couldn’t be more different. Sweet, shy Hetty and proud, beautiful Araminta never imagined they’d ever be rivals. In the previous book, Her Gilded Prison, Araminta stole Hetty’s sweetheart, the doltish Edgar, simply because he was heir to the home in which they grew up. (Though lots more happens as the story is about their mother’s love affair with a dashing older man and, like Dangerous Gentlemen, can be read as a stand-alone.)
Now they’re in London, Edgar is in the past and once again the sisters are after the same man – though in fact one of them doesn’t know it until it’s almost too late. How they deal with it has consequences that run throughout the rest of the stories.
The sequel, The Mysterious Governess, is due out on May 31 – although that date may be brought forward – while book 4 will be released shortly after that.
I’d love to offer a giveaway of Her Gilded Prison (Book 1) to any reader who comments on the topic of sibling rivalry or who simply has an opinion on either Hetty or Araminta. I have two sisters – both of whom I adore, and fortunately none of us were ever interested in each other’s boyfriends.
Thank you for dropping by the party. I’m now off to fetch myself a cup of tea and get back to writing Book 4 about the illegitimate sister who runs off to London to become an actress. I wish I could think of a name for it.
Have a wonderful day and…
