Those of you with adult children, you know that moment when your kid comes home and says to you something you’ve been telling him for years? Mine came home this week complaining about a new coworker. The new guy doesn’t work quickly and my kid’s been delayed in the evening because it takes too long to wait for him to finish up cleaning.
Hmm. Shoe, meet the other foot. ~grin~
What reassures me is that this sort of experience teaches him more than I ever can. I can only give him the information I have; I can’t make him take it. But as long as he has the information, when he needs it, it’ll be there, ready for him.
