Her Lucky Love: Finding that Second Love

HerLuckyLove72Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

Finding that Second Love

When you pick up a romance novel, you expect to watch that hero and heroine fall for each other and make that happy ever after. In HER LUCKY LOVE you get that totally, but this also isn’t the first time Allison, the heroine, fell for someone.

She’s been married before and has three beautiful children from it. Brayden, the hero, watched from the sidelines during Allison’s courtship and marriage, knowing all along he’d always love her no matter what. But Allison’s marriage wasn’t that happy ending—no it was far from it.

Now Brayden and Allison can finally have a future together—that is if they can find a way to make that happen. They each have to get over their own insecurities and the fact that Allison doesn’t trust men and magic—something that Brayden happens to have.

I loved working with these two characters. They’ve been in the background of each previous book in the Holiday, Montana series and it was about time they got their happy ending. It’s just going to take a lot more than normal to make it work.

Do you like reading happy ever after stories that revolve around a second chance? Allison has three children that play a key role in this book, what do you think Brayden will have to overcome with them?

Brayden Cooper has always been lucky. It’s in his blood and in the coin that he has hanging on a leather tie around his neck. He has everything in the world he could ever want, money: a job, brothers he loves, and the luck that comes with his powers. Yet he’s empty. Everyone but him knows  he loves Allison, yet it’s going to take something stronger than luck to bring them together.

Allison Malone is exhausted. After the death of her abusive husband, her hell of a marriage is finally over and now she’s alone with her three children that are the center of her world. Long hours at work, plus mommy duty at home are taking its toll on her and that’s not the worst of it. Her late husband’s family is in town and they want her children.

The outsiders have secrets of their own and it’s going to take all of the Coopers, especially Brayden’s, help to save them. When trouble attacks, Allison will have to remember that she’s also a woman who needs love, and Brayden might be the one to give that to her.

Warning: Contains one sexy mechanic with a lucky streak, a waitress who needs to give into her temptations, and a love so fierce it’s bound to set the sheets on fire. Again.

He loved her too much to be with her and take away her independence.

Brayden wasn’t lucky enough to be with someone like her.

He snorted at that last thought.

Well, he was damn lucky at everything else he did. It was just too freaking ironic that he couldn’t be lucky at the one thing he most desperately needed. But, that was the life he’d chosen for himself, and he’d have to learn to live with it. No, he hadn’t chosen who he fell in love with—that was Ally’s doing. But, he had chosen to let her be the best mom she could and stand aside throughout the years. He’d chosen to watch her with another man and watch those kids grow up without him other than just a friend.

Her Lucky Love: Why Did I Write about Holidays?

Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

HerLuckyLove72

You see? I’m a bit of a dork. After writing a couple dark books that made me cry, I needed a break from them. I had written angst, death, torture, loss and then of course, love…but I wanted happy times.

So I thought up a five book series about holidays.

Because you know, holidays are always happy, right?

Stop laughing at me.

Stop.

I know, I know, holidays can be stressful, annoying, and crazy. But add in the cute idea of paranormals that happen to deal with the holidays? Yes, that’s a bit cuter.

So I went and chose five holidays—or days in a child’s life where something could happen.

First was Halloween in Charmed Spirits. I got to play with ghosts, witches, and lost love. Then Christmas where I made up my own world with Justin’s job and got to meet a perky elf in Rina. Then of course, was Valentine’s Day where I got to make up my own Cupid and a sweet Abby.

For St. Patrick’s Day I got to play around without going with the little small green man. Don’t worry, Brayden is all hunky and sexy and not a leprechaun…but he’s still lucky.

My last book is called Dreams of Ivory, but I’ll leave you to guess what that could be about. *wink*

So yes, I wrote about holidays because I wanted to be happy. They still have angst and some darkness. But I get to be cute. What more could I want?

Have you ever read or written a book to change something up? To make yourself feel lighter?

Her Lucky Love: An Interview with Brayden and Tyler

HerLuckyLove72Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

An Interview with Brayden and Tyler

Carrie Ann: I’m here today with two of my sexiest heroes. I mean really, is it hot in here? *fans self*

Brayden: *raises brow* Really? That’s how we’re introduced. What are we? Pieces of meat?

Tyler: *elbows his brother* Let her have her fill, she knows we’re happily together with our women.

Carrie Ann: *sighs* Don’t I know it. Though I guess it’s my fault, after all. I’m the one who introduced you to your women.

Tyler: *grins* Damn straight. I guess I should have thanked you for that.

Brayden: *kisses Carrie Ann’s cheek* Thank you.

Carrie Ann: *clears throat* Okay, let’s get started on this interview. So, boys, tell me why you’re here.

Tyler: I think we’re here for Brayden, more than me. My book, FINDING ABIGAIL, game out last month and I already had my time in the spotlight.

Brayden: Pretty must, bro. It’s my turn now. *grins* My book, HER LUCKY LOVE, just came out, so Ally and I are going around different blogs and meeting readers.

Carrie Ann: Is it weird to have everyone know how you guys finally came together?

Tyler: As long as they know whatever happens in our book is just for us, I’m fine. Meaning they can look all they want, but I’m the one who gets to go home with Abigail.

Brayden: Pretty much what he said, but for my Allison. It took me ten freaking years to get the love of my life and I want everyone to see how it happened.

Carrie Ann: This is why I love you two. It’s all about your women—who I love as well. Okay, Brayden, you’re a dad now, are you ready for all of that?

Brayden: *grins* I’ve been waiting for this moment forever. I got three of the most beautiful kids—inside and out—when I got my Allison, I really couldn’t be happier right now.

Carrie Ann: *aww* Okay, you two, what’s next for the both of you.

Tyler: Oh, we have plans, but first, I think it’s time for our final brother to get his happy ending.

Brayden: Yes, totally, Jackson needs someone to control him as much as he tries to control us.

Carrie Ann: *laughs* Oh yes, I agree. Don’t worry, I have plans for him. Okay, readers, do you have any questions for these two sexy men?

He shook his head then ran kisses down her brow, her cheek, her jaw. “No, it’s not enough. But I don’t believe you. I don’t think you’re going to go. I might be the stupidest man you’ve ever seen by going with my gut and my luck rather than your words, but I’m taking you, Ally.”

His voice, low and ready, mixed with the softness of his lips on her skin made her thighs clench, aching for him. She was no stranger to sex. No, she’d had three kids and let—no, had endured—Greg keep her down for years, but she knew it would be different with Brayden.

She needed it to be different with Brayden.

“I’m going to try my best.” She just hoped it was good enough.

He stared at her for a few moments as if searching for an answer that she hadn’t given. She lifted her chin from his hold but didn’t look anywhere but his face, his high cheekbones and his strong jaw.

Finally, he nodded then lowered his lips. He tasted of mint, coffee, and that thing that was just Brayden. She melted into him, deepening his kiss. God, she needed him. Needed this.

He nipped at her lips, her tongue, tasting her while she did the same to him. Finally, he pulled back, his pupils wide, just a little bit of blue around the edges. Both of them panted heavily, knowing this was the start of something more…something they would finish tonight.

Her Lucky Love: Waiting for that Love

HerLuckyLove72Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

Waiting for Love

My Brayden Cooper has been waiting for ten years for Allison and it’s about time he got his happy ending, don’t you think? I’ve been watching these two in the background of my previous books dance around each other, taking care of each other, but not showing the other that they actually love each other.

I don’t know what I’d do if I had to watch the person I loved marry someone else and have the three best children in the world and do nothing about it. Allison might have hated her marriage—you’ll have to read to see exactly way—but she couldn’t leave him—again, you’ll have to read and see. Now she’s free and Brayden can finally do something about it.

He’s already in her children’s lives and they love him with every ounce they can. Allison relies on him as her friend—even if she wants to only rely on herself.

I wanted to tell a story in HER LUCKY LOVE that was hot—oh yes, very hot—and one that had action and suspense—don’t worry you’ll get that. But I also wanted to show what happens when finally, finally, after 10 years, Brayden can get the one he loves.

Finally.

He got up and left some cash on the table, leaving his brothers staring at him with looks of astonishment on their faces.

Well, they’d asked after all.

They’d just have to deal with the consequences.

He got in his truck and made it back to his place, a sprawling hillside home with six bedrooms, waiting for a family.

One he was pretty sure he’d never have.

An image of Lacy, Aiden, and Cameron playing in the halls, their laughter echoing like some long-forgotten dream passed over his mind, and Brayden closed his eyes, trying to block out the picture that would never come to pass.

He could only imagine putting the kids to bed then slowing stripping down Allison to nothing but skin, tasting each inch and loving her like no man ever would.

Her Lucky Love: An Excerpt

HerLuckyLove72Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

Thank you so much for having me here today! Here is an excerpt from my latest release HER LUCKY LOVE

She found his cell number in her contacts and pressed the green button. God, she really didn’t want to talk to him, even though she really, really did. Okay fine, she was fine talking with him, she just didn’t like how it made her feel—like she was on quicksand and any sudden movement would take her under.

Great, now she sounded like a teenager.

The phone rang twice, and Brayden picked up.

“Ally? Is everything okay? Are the kids okay?” he asked, his deep voice washing over her and sending goose bumps down her spin.

God that voice made her ache.

No, stop it, Allison. He isn’t for you.

“Yes, the kids are fine.” Damn, point for him for thinking about her kids first. “It’s the car.”

“Did you get in an accident? Do I need to call Tyler?”

Tyler Cooper was Brayden’s brother and the town sheriff, not to mention the fiancé of one of her best friends, Abby.

“No, we’re fine; the kids are fine. My car’s just died on the side of the road near Sunset Pass, and I need help.”

God that last part hurt to say.

She hated asking for help. But, as soon as she’d had her kids, she knew pride was for people with means. She’d do anything to protect her babies, and she’d done most everything to prove that.

“Sunset Pass? I’ll be right there. Stay in the car, okay Ally?”

Relief swept through her that he’d be there soon. That he’d drop everything to take care of her and her babies.

No, just her babies. She had nothing to do with it.

Sure, Ally, keep telling yourself that.

“No problem, it’s cold anyway.” She bit her lip and held back a curse. Why did she have to tell him that? Now he probably thought she was some weak damsel in distress on the side of the road waiting for her knight in shining armor to race to her side on that stallion of his.

Well, so she was sort of like that, but only for her kids.

All she ever did was for her kids.

She didn’t have pride anymore.

She had to remember that.

Brayden mumbled something unintelligible then said he’d by right there. They hung up, and Allison closed her eyes, remembering the deep rumble of his voice.

What would that voice sound like surrounded by soft sheets and candlelight?

She blinked and cursed at herself for fantasies that were too good for her.

This was why she avoided Brayden Cooper unless her kids needed him.

She couldn’t help the dreams of his touch, his integrity, and the way he could slip right into their lives and keep them steady.

Allison was the steady point in her family.

She didn’t need a man to be her anchor.

She’d tried that and look how she’d failed.

Oh, how she’d failed.

She put her phone away and got in the car, wincing as she noticed the heat had slowly leached from the interior.

“Okay, guys, Brayden is coming to help us, so let’s make sure we have all our stuff ready to go. We don’t want to make him wait for us.”

Lacy’s smile brightened up so much Allison was afraid she’d need sunglasses just to look at her daughter.

“Really? Brayden’s coming? Yay!” She clapped her hands and wiggled in her booster.

It looked like she wasn’t the only Malone girl who’d fallen for Brayden’s charm.

No, no. Scratch that. Ally hadn’t fallen.

Nope, not in anyway.

She ignored the inner eye roll.

“Yep, so make sure you’re on your best behavior, okay?”

“Of course, Momma. Brayden is special,” her daughter said with a seriousness that surprised Allison.

God, why had she let her kids get so close to him? She’d known they needed a father figure in their lives. They’d never really had that with Greg, even when he’d been alive, but maybe she’d gone too far with the Cooper brothers.

The five men had taken her under their wings and been the uncles her kids had never had. Matt, Justin, Jackson, Tyler, and Brayden had gone to birthday parties and celebrated Christmas and Easter with her babies. They’d taken them to movies and to the park when Allison couldn’t do it because she had to work to support her family.

They’d offered to help her with the bills from time to time, but she’d said no. The town of Holiday was small enough that anything like that would spark rumors that would be hard to pat down. Plus, even though she’d said she’d lost her pride, she still had that fragile hold on the last bit of it.

Her job as a waitress at the town diner could support her family if they lived leanly, and it had worked.

So far.

She had her family, and the Uncles Cooper were amazing with her children. Justin had even saved their lives last Christmas during the accident on the ice pond.

Yet, Brayden had stepped up even further. He’d been there for everything she could ever need, and she knew she relied on him too much.

From the way her kids looked at him and the way their excitement filled the car at just the mention of his name, she knew she’d gone too far.

She’d have to back off and slowly break some of the ties that held Brayden to them. He couldn’t be the steady rock they needed.

That was her job, and she didn’t trust anyone else to be part of that.

What would happen when Brayden found a wife and had children of his own? She couldn’t let her children go through that disappointment.

A sharp pain hit her at the thought of Brayden married to someone else, watching his wife grow round with his child.

No, she didn’t need to feel that or be jealous.

Brayden Cooper wasn’t hers.

He would never be hers.

Her Lucky Love: Sexy Heroes

HerLuckyLove72Hi All! Welcome to the party! Today I’m giving away a $25 Amazon GC so be sure to comment on all my posts to enter. All day I’m taking about my latest release, HER LUCKY LOVE! I hope you get a chance to meet these sexy Cooper Brothers!

Sexy Heroes

When you read a romance novel you’re guaranteed a few things. If it’s a true romance, will get your happy ever after. You get a heroine you’ll want to be or want to throw off a cliff—same with the hero. It really depends on my mood. *wink* You’ll find yourself cheering up sometimes, and fanning your face at other times. You’ll live the emotional roller coaster of having these two characters fall in love while the outside world may try to pull them apart. You’ll gasp, clutch the side of your book or Kindle, sit on the edge of your seat suspense.

And if you’re reading a good romance, the find a sexy hero. Sure, he may not be sexy on the outside, but he could be damn well sexy on the inside. Reading a romance novel is an escape, we know it. Look outside of the people around you, you know that not every heroine and hero is real life. You know that what we see in real life, may not be the perfect romance. And that’s okay, that’s why we dive into these worlds and find new people. Life isn’t perfect, and neither are our heroes.

Sure they could have eight pack abs, that chiseled jaw, strong muscles, the eyes that twinkle or smolder. They could have that growly voice and that alpha male tendency to take over. But then they could be tortured, scarred, sweet, beta, an ass….

They could be anything.

And that’s what makes him sexy. No matter how sexy he is on the outside, what we leave with after reading is how sexy he is on the inside. It’s how he takes care of his heroine. She needs to know that yes he can protect her, but she needs to protect herself. And he needs to let it happen. He needs to know that she can be the one to protect him.

And he needs to be man enough to let it happen.

That’s what makes a sexy hero. The duality of being that strong man who cares. So yes he could have the sexy build, the chiseled face, the smile that turns you weak, and the silky locks you want to tangle your fingers in (yes, I’m talking to you, my hero Brayden from HER LUCKY LOVE), but if you didn’t have the personality to back that up, he wouldn’t be as sexy to me.

So what do you think defines a sexy hero? Visit his looks or the way he acts smart or is it both. Or does it really matter?

The outsiders have secrets of their own and it’s going to take all of the Coopers, especially Brayden’s, help to save them. When trouble attacks, Allison will have to remember that she’s also a woman who needs love, and Brayden might be the one to give that to her.

Warning: Contains one sexy mechanic with a lucky streak, a waitress who needs to give into her temptations, and a love so fierce it’s bound to set the sheets on fire. Again.

Excerpt

Tyler: Thank you for having us.

Abby: I’m so excited to be here.

Tyler: *rolls his eyes then kisses her temple* You’re always excited.

Abby: *laughs softly* Well yeah, especially after what just happened.

Carrie Ann: What just happened?

Abby: Uh, you wrote it, remember?

Carrie Ann: Oh shush, I was just trying to spoil it for the readers, but I guess I’ll just make the m read the book. Bwah ah ah ah.

Tyler: You are the devious one.

Carrie Ann: True. Okay, let’s get to some questions, shall we? Tyler, you want to explain to us why you let Abby walk around for years without you noticing her?

Tyler: *lets out a breath and pulls Abby close* Because I’m an idiot? A typical male? Because I’m not worthy of her?

Carrie Ann: *narrows eyes* That’s a good start. But I’m going to make sure Abby lets you wiggle a bit.

Abby: Oh, he wiggles. *grins*

Carrie Ann: *puts her hands over her ears* La la la la. Okay, enough of that. Now, Abby, are you really leaving Holiday? Or did you find something to make you stay?

Abby: It was never finding something to make me stay. It was finding something worth staying. And you’ll have to read and see.

Carrie Ann: You’re getting clever at this. Okay, fun questions. What’s your favorite type of candy?

Tyler & Abby: Candy Hearts!

Carrie Ann: Ew, I hate those things, but I guess that was an easy one. Hmmm….favorite position?

Abby: *blushes* I am so not telling you that.

Tyler: *grins* Oh, oh I could share some things. Remember that time in the kitchen, baby?

Abby: *covers ears* La la la la la

Carrie Ann: Oh my God, I love you two. Now, what readers might not know is that you Tyler are a cupid, what does that mean?

Tyler: That means I have a job to do other than my job as Sheriff. I have to make sure that people who could have something together get that chance.

Carrie Ann: Do you have to wear tights?

Abby: Only with me. *winks*

Carrie Ann: *laughs* Okay, I still love you both. I guess I should let y’all head out so you can do whatever it is you two do. And no, please, please, don’t give me details, we have enough of those in your book, Finding Abigail.

Hey readers, do you have any questions for me, Abby, or Tyler? We’d love to hear from you!

Finding Abigail: Cupids are Sexy

Welcome to the party! I’m celebrating the release of FINDING ABIGAIL (Holiday, Montana 3)! I hope you guys settle back and enjoy the posts and excerpts. Plus I’m giving away an eARC of HER LUCKY LOVE( Holiday Montana 4).

No, oh no, I’m not talking about the diaper wearing, baby smiling, cherubs. I’m talking about that sexy sheriff who’s all muscle, man, and grit. Yep, Tyler Cooper in my Holiday, Montana series finds himself as the Cupid of Holiday in Finding Abigail.

What is it about Cupids that are sexy? Well, I don’t know about others, but it’s all about Tyler for me. Could it be the bow and arrow? Hmm…maybe. You know, it’s that whole hunter aspect. It could be the way his muscles move when he uses it…..

*dreamy sigh*

It could also be because Cupids are the ones who bring people together. They bring love, and with love comes all those ooey gooey emotions we all want more of.

That could be it.

Now why do I think Cupids are sexy? Well that’s easy, Tyler Cooper is the cupid of Holiday who uses not only his muscles, but his brain to take care of those he loves—including Abigail, the woman he’s been friends with for years and finally realizes he could have something more.

What about you? Do you like the idea of a sexy, shirtless male with a bow and arrow ready to strike down the bad guys as well as find the one person who can make you sigh inside in all the right ways?

What do you think make Cupids sexy?

Finding Abigail: Those Sexy Cooper Brothers

Welcome to the party! I’m celebrating the release of FINDING ABIGAIL (Holiday, Montana 3)! I hope you guys settle back and enjoy the posts and excerpts. Plus I’m giving away an eARC of HER LUCKY LOVE( Holiday Montana 4).

Oh, this is one of my favorite topics. I love the Cooper brothers. Five sexy, competent men who each have a story to be told. Each of them has a career, an attitude, a personality, and something sexy about them. You’ll meet each of them in their own books in the Holiday, Montana series. Plus, they’re in each book to make sure you don’t forget them.

Ha, like I could ever do that.

I love starting a new series and finding a new family to love—particularly when that family includes five hunky, independent, swoon-worthy men. Uh huh, I’m talking about the Cooper brothers. You’ll meet each of these boys—no, men—in my Holiday, Montana series.

But what I really want to do here is let y’all know about the Cooper brothers. These handsome men are as tight a crew as any brethren and only have themselves to depend on. I thought I’d introduce you to them now and you can meet them more in their own books in the Holiday, Montana series.

Matt Cooper is the hero of Charmed Spirits and is the youngest of them all at thirty. He owns the hardware store in town and as a teenager was in love with Jordan Cross—the town witch and outcast. He’s loved her all this time, yet he thought he’d long lost that. He’s a laid back guy, always there for those who need him. Some may even call him a Beta, but only where it counts. Because believe me, and Jordan, he’s Alpha when it’s needed. He also has a secret or two, but I’m not telling.

Justin Cooper is school principal and ex-bad boy of the Cooper clan and the hero of my current release, Santa’s Executive. He’s always been the one that did what he wanted, when he wanted. But after an accident as a teen, he changed gears a bit and now cares more about others than himself. He may just need to meet someone else to help him realize that he’s more than just the ex-bad boy and has something more to give than just his time.

Tyler Cooper is the town sheriff and ladies’ man as well as the hero of my upcoming Finding Abigail. He may be the love ‘em and leave ‘em type, but he’s up front about it. He’s not callous in his attentions, but the ladies that may fall for him knew the score to begin with. Though there may be a woman in town that could change all that, he’s sworn to protect the town rather than his heart.

Brayden Cooper is the town mechanic and the quiet one of the family as well as the hero of the upcoming Her Lucky Love. Though he’ll laugh and joke with his brothers, no one really knows quite who he is. He is, however, the man who will always be there for anyone. Especially a certain single-mother who is in desperate need of help.

Jackson Cooper is the town dentist and has the worst temper of the bunch and will get his story in Dreams of Ivory. No one really knows why he’s so angry, but there has to be a reason. Plus, even though the evidence is mounting in the town that magic exists, it still seems like nonsense to him. Magic can’t exist in his opinion, because if it did….things would have been different.

Well, those are my Cooper men. What do y’all think? I hope you guys get a chance to meet these men in their own books. Each book will be coming out for each holiday from now until July. So not only will the magic happen, you’ll get to meet the Coopers quickly. I hope you get a chance to read my latest release, FINDING ABIGAIL! Thank you so much!!

Finding Abigail: It’s Always the Quiet Ones

Welcome to the party! I’m celebrating the release of FINDING ABIGAIL (Holiday, Montana 3)! I hope you guys settle back and enjoy the posts and excerpts. Plus I’m giving away an eARC of HER LUCKY LOVE( Holiday Montana 4).

So you’ve read the blurb for Finding Abigail, right? The quiet school teacher who happens to be a virgin? Oh yes, Abby is all about that. But then, she’s also a modern woman who knows how to take care of herself.

What does that mean?

That means Abby has never needed a man to do what she could do herself.

In her job.

In her house.

In her life.

And well…in her bed.

That doesn’t mean she won’t welcome Tyler Cooper, especially since she’s loved the man for years, but he’s going to have to get on his knees and beg (stop thinking dirty!) in order for her to give in.

You see, it’s always the quiet ones. So next time you read something that has that quiet, virgin, school teacher, remember this isn’t the olden days where you couldn’t talk about sex, oh no, strong women can take care of themselves in all ways…

It’s just sometimes a man it totally worth it. *wink*

Carrie Ann Ryan is a bestselling paranormal and contemporary romance author. After spending too much time behind a lab bench, she decided to dive into the romance world and find her werewolf mate – even if it’s just in her books. Happy endings are always near – even if you have to get over the challenges of falling in love first.
