For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Jianne Carlo, and I write erotic romance in several genres: paranormal, contemporary, time-travel, fantasy, military (hot SEALs), and Viking historicals. Since I hate being bored or writing the expected, I combine multiple genres often. My latest Viking Vengeance trilogy is a combo historical, paranormal, and fantasy.
It’s thrilling when an author’s nominated for a prestigious CAPA award and I congratulate all the 2012 nominees. I well remember the first time I was nominated – I had just published my fourth book and there it was under Best Paranormal for 2009 – White Wolf. What an adrenalin rush that was!
Unfortunately, I won’t be around for the final day due to prior commitments, but I do plan to shake things up over the next two days with contests, hot excerpts, and a few surprises.
How about a Cocktail to start?
Valentine Nuvo
1 part Red Velvet Cake Nuvo
1 part Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1 part heavy cream
2 parts soda
Mix ingredients together
Serve in a stemless wine glass
Garnish with a cherry and a spring of mint
