If you’ve read Natural Born Enemies, you’ll notice Luna’s scent mentioned, Bitten By Chocolate. This is an actual perfume by Wick’d Potions by Studio 3B. Whoever wins the copy of Natural Born Enemies, if they send me their address (US residents only), will receive a sample bottle of Bitten By Chocolate.

Here’s the blurb:

“Do you know you’ve always smelled like chocolate to me?”
I smiled broadly. “You’ve always smelled like moonlight through the red cedars. It’s the smell of darkness and light combined with the smell of the cedar trees.”
Adam stroked his hands through my hair. “You still smell like chocolate, but there is something more there now.”
“It’s called Bitten By Chocolate. It’s this perfume I wear.”
“That’s not it. You haven’t always worn the perfume. You have always smelled like the most decadent chocolate in the world.”
I smiled as he nibbled on my neck. “In order to keep your smell with me, I used to walk into the deepest heart of the forest and close my eyes. In that place and in that moment, I felt closer to you.”
Adam sighed deeply as he pulled my lips to his. “Kiss me, Luna. Welcome home a soldier.”
I took his face in my hands and looked deep into his passion-darkened eyes. “Welcome home, Adam,” I whispered as I brushed my lips across his.”

Yes, I wear this perfume. Yes, it smells like chocolate. It is sexy and personifies Luna perfectly.

I’ve heard of the perfume but had no idea it was based off your books. Awesome!!!

Actually, the perfume came first. I fell in love with Wick’d Potions and asked the owner if I could use it in my book. She said “Of course!” and here it is. From here on out, one Wick’d Potion will be featured in each Cedar River book. I’m also working with the owner on a scent for the new series I’m working on. It will be the signature scent for that series as well.

Bitten by Chocolate perfume? I’ve never heard of it. I’ve seen chocolate-scented candles and soaps, but not perfume. How interesting!

That’s what I thought when I came across the website over a year ago. Chocolate perfume? Oh, it’s so nice. Notes of cocoa and vanilla with a bit of musk…yummy! *dabs a bit on my wrist*
