Imagine you’re a shapeshifter. Fun, huh? Well, imagine trying to find a date if you’re a shapeshifter surrounded by humans. Not so fun. Serena Goldwolf recognized that and started a matchmaking service for her fellow shapeshifters called Predator-Match.com . Initially, she offered just personal services where people stopped into her business for professional help, but then she saw the opportunity to create a match web site just for shapeshifters. Her service and web site is called Predator-Match.com. I featured Serena and Damien’s story in Alpha vs. Alpha, my new release Leader of the Pack is a sequel.

To humans, the web site looks like a way to match zoo animals for breeding services. Once a verified shapeshifter logs in however, the site is very different. It’s possible to see photos of both the animal and human selves of the individual. Shifters can post a profile and find a Chosen Mate, a heat buddy, or someone – regardless of species -  to have some fun with. Serena still offers her personal assistance to customers who are willing to pay for help.

Yohana Whitewolf is one of those shapeshifters. Yo has known Serena since they were young and for the longest time has avoided Serena’s enticements to use the service, but now Yohana feels she has no choice. Her sire has recently passed away and Yohana has taken over the Whitewolf pack. So far, so good. But she is unmated and has no pups. Her pack is worried about that. Her cousin is pushing the issue because he believes he would be a better packleader than Yohana – unfortunately, he has backers. So Yohana decides to make a sacrifice. She visits Serena and asks for her help to find a Mate in order to placate her pack.

Dr. Per Goldwolf is up for partner at his medical practice, so he told his boss a lie. The head of the practice believes partners should have strong family values. To do that, they really need to have a family. Per is single but he told his boss he is shortly to become engaged. Now his bluff is called and he’d better produce a fiancée or look for another practice where he can hang his shingle. He seeks out Serena for discreet assistance. Serena realizes these two are perfect for each other so she sets up a meet and sits back to wait for the inevitable…her invitation to a Mate reception.
